Hello everyone. Thanks for visiting my website.
Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From my first “110” camera to the digital SLR that I use now, photography has always been an outlet from me to express and capture the events in my life and the beauty that I see everyday. The biggest step forward in my photography occurred about 6 or 7 years ago when I switched to digital photography. My life hasn’t been the same since. Digital has allowed me to experiment and really find an outlet to express the artistic side of my personality.
A couple of years ago, I started a journey down the road of moving my photography from a hobby to professional level. A close friend of mine asked me to do family portraits of her and her family. Up until that point, my photography has always been about nature, landscapes and the occasional candid snapshot. Truly, portrait photography was something that I hadn’t considered until that point. With a little nervousness, I agreed and started purchasing the equipment I would need to obtain the photographs that she wanted. Once at her home, I was able to settle in, relax and take the photos. The look on my friend’s face when I delivered the framed photos is still one of the highlight moments of my life. I think that I will always remember that moment. I still get compliments on those first portraits of my friend and her family.
Fast forward to today. Today, I get the greatest satisfaction knowing that my photography is hanging on someone else’s wall. I aim to achieve truly inspiring photography, from the awesome landscapes to the portraits that are good enough for a magazine. Your comments are always welcome and enjoyed.
Thanks
